Encouraging Future Entrepreneurs

This school year, the 4th year students of SFAS are experiencing what it is to present and defend THEIR ideas. In their Economic class, the students (in small groups) are given the chance to propose business ideas and defend them to a group of panelists. This is done every quarter. Interesting business ideas are as follows: a notebook company using unused paper from old notebooks / TAPEAL Travel and Tours-bus tours around Negros with an "in-house" restaurant serving native delicacies; bus can levitate, submerge under water and can run as fast as Maglev trains / KULINARI- a culinary school in Silay City, primarily catering to out-of-school youth (giving out scholarships) / KUSTUM MAIZ- a customize shop for creating apparel from recycled/used apparel/materials.
