The Mind Museum on-the-go Educational show was held at The District North Point-Ayala Mall in Talisay City last September 19. It was hosted by their resident Scientist, whom is referred to as Mind Mover, Asia Aportadera.
Students from Grade 4 to 6 attended the show. Science trivia were asked and whoever answered correctly won a prize. Then, Mind Mover Asia amazed the audience with these 7 Science experiments:
The Vitamin C experiment — She showed how Vitamin C works to cleanse the body from free radicals with red water turning to clear water.
Igniting Money — She showed how money ignited without burning itself.
Colored-flame experiment — She showed how flames could turn into different colors using different kitchen ingredients.
Bottled Cloud — She showed how a cloud is formed in a bottle.
Home-made Slime — She showed the kids how to make slime on their own using school ingredients.
Fountain on a Soda — She showed how Mentos candy created a fountain of soda (and this was a jaw-dropping experiment to all).
Fire in a Bottle — She showed how heat softened a 5-gallon bottle.
These experiments can be done at home with adult supervision.
