The 4th year students of St. Francis of Assisi School had their campus tour last January 18, 2012 along with the school's Guidance Counselor, Ms. April Suating. The tour, which is part of the program of activities for the Seniors, got positive feedback from the students. It covered an orientation of the curricular offerings, physical set up and scholarship programs of the schools. Such directed towards career campaign.
Two schools were visited, the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos and La Consolacion College-Bacolod .
Joahanna Ganza quoted,
"It is better that we are brought to the colleges or universities to see the actual facilities and the standards so we can compare which school would best suit our choice of course."While Paula Jean added,
"We are thankful to SFAS and Ms. April for the opportunity to be exposed and go out of our own campus so we are able to meet people in the college who can be so accommodating to answer what a common graduating student often asks."
The students found the experience enriching. They hope that the next batches would have the same exposure as they had.
