Initiation of the Freshmen Students

As tradition of St. Francis of Assisi School in Silay City, Freshmen are welcomed to the beginning of their high school life through an "Initiation Week."  This year made a difference because of the Dynamic Learning program:  Initiation activities were held during Wednesdays for three consecutive weeks.

Last June 26, the Freshmen had to look like "beggars." They were assigned to pick up trash in the campus, dance the Cha-Cha or “sing a song."

Last July 3,  they had to look like "zombies."  These neophytes were tasked to gather candies from students after scaring them but ended up gathering signatures only.

Last July 10, the 7th graders had to look alike and imitate assigned characters or persons to them.

Will the Freshmen hold on till the end? Will their energy and perseverance last?  “Let’s make this unforgettable and fun for them until the end,” said their Seniors.  And all Grade 7 and 10 students, together with other high school level students, alumni and guests culminated with a successful Freshmen Night last July 12, 2013!
