Last August 12, Faber-Castell, world’s leading manufacturer of wood-cased pencils with a varied range of products for writing, drawing and creative design, visited St. Francis of Assisi School in Silay City and held a free Art Workshop
to students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. The purpose of the workshop was to
expose students to different drawing techniques and the efficiency of Faber-Castell products as a drawing tool. Every student got free sample products while participating in different activities prepared by the facilitators.
The Art Workshop started out with a film-showing on its history and how the products are produced. Some discussion on the importance of drawing and an art challenge per grade level . The activity ended with giving out of sample products such as ball pen, pencil and coloring pen and an awarding to students participated on the Art Challenge.
